DRIVEWAY CLEARING SERVICE

SNOW BLOWING & DRIVEWAY CLEARING
Efficiency • Timing • Quality

At Taylor Snow Removal, our goal is to provide efficient, timely, and high-quality clearing to give our customers safe and easy access to their driveways—with minimal effort on their part.

The One-Two Punch Approach

Because storm timing can be unpredictable, we use a strategic two-pass method when conditions require it:

  1. First Punch – Quick Access Pass:
A fast, preliminary clearing to ensure you can get in and out of your driveway safely during or immediately after a storm.

  2. Second Punch – Full Finish Pass:
Completed either later that day or early the following morning, depending on the storm’s timing. This pass includes a full-width, pole-to-pole clearing and attention to the area in front of the mailbox.

Standard Storm Response

For storms that occur overnight, our team will aim to complete full driveway clearing by 8:00 AM or earlier, including berm removal and mailbox access.

⚠️ Please note: This is our goal, not a guarantee, as timing and severity of storms may impact our ability to complete all driveways by a specific time.

NEW FOR 2024 SEASON

The 2022/23 winter season was both incredible and challenging for homeowners and snow removal providers throughout Truckee. In response, many local snow removal companies—including Taylor Snow Removal—are restructuring their service models to better adapt to extreme snow years while remaining fair and sustainable.

We will be implementing a new pricing structure designed specifically for Glenshire residential properties. This model balances affordability during average winters while ensuring our ability to operate effectively during heavy snow years.

New for This Season: Base Rate + Renewal Option

  • Base Rate Contract: Covers up to 25 plow visits for the season.

    • Historically, most winters do not exceed 25 plows, making this a fair and effective baseline.

  • Extended Season Option: If we exceed 25 plows (e.g., during a particularly heavy winter), you will have the option to renew your contract at $25 per week for the remainder of the season.

    • Example: If we reach 25 plows by March 18, and the season runs 4 more weeks, you may continue service for just $100 (4 weeks × $25).

This extended service model only applies in above-average snowfall years and is limited to residential properties. It does not apply to commercial properties or private roads.

We appreciate your understanding as we evolve our approach to better serve you while maintaining a sustainable business model in all types of winters.

If you have any questions about your contract or the new structure, feel free to reach out—we’re here to help.
